Welcome

The pigeon (Columba livia) is a common sight in urban areas, with city buildings replacing the rocky cliffs inhabited by their wild counterparts. In high numbers, feral pigeons are considered a major pest problem around the world. Faecal matter, as well as being unsightly, can deface and accelerate the deterioration of buildings, increase the cost of maintenance and be a potential for diseases transmission.

Management tools such as netting, spikes, gels and other approaches such as flying predatory birds can protect buildings but these often move the problem elsewhere. New humane solutions are now available to reduce pigeon numbers, which when combined with other traditional pigeon management products, present a modern, integrated pest management solution to this modern day pest problem.
